The competition is promoted by Panasonic UK Ltd (and/or its subsidiaries or associated companies) whose registered address is at Panasonic House, Willoughby Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 8FP (‘The Promoter’).
This competition is open to UK residents only aged 16 years or over, who are enrolled on either a full time or part time basis as a student with a recognized college/university or is a recent graduate (graduate within the last 2 years), except for employees of The Promoter, their families or anyone else associated with this promotion.
It is a condition of entry that the entrant agrees to abide strictly by the rules of the competition. The decision of The Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of any one video will be taken to mean acceptance of the terms and conditions expressed herein. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. Bad faith or fraudulent entries will be invalidated. The Promoter reserves the right, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions.
All videos submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any video they submit has been taken with the permission of the subject and does not infringe the copyright of any third party, or contravene any laws. By submitting a design, entrants warrant that the design is their own work and they own the copyright (and any other intellectual property right) in it.
Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries; however, by entering, all entrants grant the Promoter a worldwide royalty-free perpetual license to edit, publish and use each entry in any and all media (including online) for publicity, news or other commercial purposes.
Entrants must include their own name, address and telephone number, together with a brief summary of what the video represents, their thoughts, ideas, opinions etc and what has inspired them. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party without the individual’s prior consent.
The start date for this competition is 18th May 2009, as this is when the “entry uploading” functionality will be available.
All designs must be submitted at www.nextgenerationtalent.co.uk by the closing date, 23:59 on 28th June 2009. No responsibility can be accepted for any entries that are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid or if entry was not possible due to technical difficulties including, but not exclusively, access to the website. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
Entrants may submit more than one design: however only one design per theme is accepted on behalf of any one participant.
The Promoter (and/or a third party advisory panel appointed by the Promoter in connection with this promotion) will select a shortlist. The judges will select the entries they judge to be the most original creative design, authentic and excellent representation of the chosen theme and which harmonizes with the corporate social responsibility of the Promoter. A panel of expert bloggers and creative’s will feedback on the shortlist and decide two entries to be put to public voting. The winner will be decided by public voting on the www.nextgenerationtalent.co.uk website.
The public votes will open from 09:00 28th September 2009 until 23:59 16th October 2009, and the winner will be announced on 20th October 2009.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree that the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
The winner will be announced on 20th October 2009 and will be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the above prizes with other prizes of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability. Each prize includes the delivery costs to any UK address. Please allow 28 days for delivery or collection of prizes. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to award another entrant or conclude the competition without a winner.
